The solar tracker at Garwnant. Looks the business. I have asked what the yield is like in Kwhs? Looks like a 4KWp system
I don’t know! This is why I’m asking! I passed a very interesting one today when going down to Dyffryn Garden with Alex to talk biomass. We stopped at Garwnant on the way down from Storey Arms in the Brecon Beacons. This is Natural Resources Wales (ex Forestry Commission) nice buildings, stunning furniture, good coffee, decent biomass and the list goes on. Today there was something new for me which was an impressive PV on a lump of concrete with a solar tracker on it. I have heard all sorts of stuff e.g. does not like the UK because of the amount of cloud we get. The system is not sure what to do when its cloudy. True the one at Garwnant was pointing at the trees when the clouds were out. I have heard of maintenance issues because of the amount of to-ing and fro-ing because of the cloud issue and so on
Can anyone help me? Is it worth the extra bunce? On an educational, sculptural aspect it did look the businesses

the sun was to the right of the array but obscured by the clouds. The System ended up pointing towards the trees. 10 mins later the sun came out and the array dutifully turned to face the sun.
