Popped over to Plas Newydd a couple of days ago to see if the ‘Coterie’ was back… Collective noun for orchids. I had to look it up! The 150,000 were back and with a lot of new flowery friends. The density is incredible at Plas Newydd. You can have your cake and eat it! FLOWER POWER!. The bit I most like about this meadow is that it has been managed into existence through careful grazing, hay management and allowing natural processes to be… well you know, natural!
Just as pretty in my mind. But i suppose i am biased. Having cake and eat it field!
